WAYNE ROONEY AZINDUA PIKIPIKI ZAKE AINA YA CHOOPA KWA AJILI YA KUWASAIDIA WATOTO YATIMA

Wayne Rooney's overhead kick against Manchester City in February 2011 is rightly lauded as one of the finest goals in the history of the Premier League. And it serves as the inspiration behind the diamond-encrusted custom chopper designed by the England striker.

A motorbike inspired by a bicycle kick - it seems rather fitting.
The bike is to be sold at the Bonhams auction of Sports Memorabilia on February 20. It is expected to fetch between £40,000 and £60,000 for the charity KidsAid. The bike had previously sold on eBay but is now back up for grabs at the famous auction house.
The flash custom-made bike is capable of more than 60mph in under four seconds and was made by Danish manufacturers Lauge Jensen.

The bike features Rooney’s celebration after his winning goal against local rivals Manchester City in February 2011 painted on to the rear fender. The strike was a brilliant overhead kick which helped the Red Devils to a vital victory during their Premier League title-winning campaign that year.
The bike is described as 'truly unique and one-of-a-kind' and having 'a raw and clean design with unique rims.'
Rooney donated one of his player jerseys with his personal signature, which has been mounted onto the petrol tank with lacquer seal to preserve the jersey. There is also a special shift rod with 21 black diamonds and one white diamond.

The cash from the winning bidder goes to KidsAid, a charity dedicated to helping children who have suffered ‘traumatic events’ - from illnesses to family breakdown - in their lives.
Rooney said on his design: 'I am delighted to be involved in this unique fund raising project.

'When first approached about the possibility of being involved in the design of a unique Wayne Rooney Lauge Jensen World famous custom bike I was really excited to have the opportunity to be involved.
'The fact that the funds raised will go to kids in Denmark is a great way for me on behalf of all the players at Manchester United to say thank you for the support we receive from the Danish people.
'The bike we have designed takes its inspiration from the celebration of my overhead kick against Manchester City.
'The goal has been described by others as being of the highest quality, technical excellence, powerful and beautiful. I hope you will agree that the bike is all of this and more.'
Soren Bach, a spokesman for KidsAid said: 'We are obviously both extremely proud and pleased with Wayne Rooney having agreed to support our work in KidsAid.
'With his support and with the many fans that he has throughout the world, we hope that the auction will help to raise a significant amount of money for the cause. At the same time, the co-operation will help to bring focus on the children and kids who suffer from illness'.
